Hello, As a friendly reminder, there are only 4 days left to pay after today to pay for the athletic awards dinners. The dinners will be held at the Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square. The girls' dinner will be on June 8th. The last day to pay for the dinner will be May 18th. Reservation forms can be picked up from the athletic office. Our students experienced how STEM is utilized by the US Army. The STEM truck provided the students with a few simulations to explore the importance of science, technology, engineering, and math.

Congratulations to the girls varsity softball team. The Team remains in first place with a 21-4 victory over Great Neck South High School yesterday. Ashlee Boodoo went 5 for 5 with a double, 5 runs scored and 1 RBI, Emma Shinsato went 3 for 5 with 4 runs scored and 5 RBIs. Winning pitcher Isabella Torres scattered 5 hits while striking out 4. The team will host Hewlett High School on Monday, May 9th, game time is 5:00pm. Come support the seniors as they play in their last home game. Senior ceremony at 4:30pm.

Congratulations to the boys varsity Track & Field team on their victory at home against Seaford, Malverne, and Locust Valley. Jordan DeJesus won both the 100 and 200, while Damilola Babalola won both the 110 hurdles and 400 hurdles. Derek Chinchilla finished first in the 400, and Giuseppe D´Agosto finished 2nd in the discus. Jurrel Hall and Anthony Graffeo Jackson went 1-2 in the high jump and triple jump, and Hall also won the long jump. Jurrel Hall´s high jump of 6 feet 1 inch broke a West Hempstead record set back in 2014. The 4x100 relay of DeJesus, Pierre, Leslie, and Babalola closed the meet with a close win over Malverne. Congratulations RAMS!!!

Congratulations to the girls’ varsity softball team. The varsity softball team improved its league record to 5-0 with a 19-5 victory over Great Neck South yesterday. Joey Axel went 5 for 5 with a home run, 2 doubles, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored and Ashlee Boodoo went 5 for 5 with a home run, a double and 4 runs scored. Pitcher Jennie Axel scattered 9 hits while striking out 10. The team’s next game is Wednesday, April 20 at Hewlett, game time is 10am.
