
Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Volleyball team. The team won their quarter final match against Island Trees High School 3 sets to 1. Chance Mingo dominated the match and carried the RAMS with 23 kills and two aces. Victoria Guerrier added 35 assists.
This win marks the third year in a row the volleyball team has made it the semifinals. The team play on Saturday, November 5th as the girls will play the number 1 seed Seaford Vikings at Carle Place High School at 4:00pm. Come support the RAMS!!!!

Congratulations to the varsity football team on their 48-16 win yesterday over Valley Stream South High School. The team improved their record to 7-1 on the season. The team will be hosting their first home playoff game since 2013. The team will be playing against Island Trees High School. The date and time of the game will be announced by tomorrow afternoon. GO RAMS!!!


The students on the North Campus celebrating Red Ribbon Week by tying ribbons on the fence to signify their commitment to remain drug-free.



Ms. Wilkens’ Geometry students engaged in their jigsaw activity. Expert groups learning the different triangle congruency theorems at their own pace.




Thanks to Ms. Ross-Dinin and Ms. Mejia for organizing such a great trip to Hecksher Museum. The students had a fantastic time.



The students in Mr. Brown’s PE class are just starting their badminton unit. They are perfecting their technique before the in class tournament next week.



The students in Ms. Rowland’s Algebra II class are living the new additions to the classroom. The high top tables are a great spot to simplify complex fractions with your peers! Can’t wait for the rest of the furniture to be delivered.



Make-Up Picture Day for our students in grades 9-11 will be on Thursday this week (10/27) not Friday as it appears on the school calendar.

Congratulations to the West Hempstead 7&8 football team. Yesterday, the team defeated East Rockaway Middle School by the score of 13-8. Leo Papangelopoulas and Rohan Mathai each scored touchdowns in the game. King Gonzalez got an interception to end the half, and Michael Callejas recovered a fumble in the closing minute to seal the victory. It was a great team win.
