Announcements for September 18, 2025

Attention All Seniors interested in running for Mr. & Miss West Hempstead - information is available on the Student Council bulletin board in the Main Circle or outside Room 252.

Attention all Sophomores: Cast your ballot for class officers tomorrow, September 19. Go to the Class of 2028 Google Classroom page and complete the election form. Polls open from 8 AM to 2:45 PM tomorrow. Cast your vote.

Next Gen Med for Grades 9-12: Are you interested in the medical field? If so, come to the first meeting of the Next Gen Med club on Thursday, September 18, at dismissal, in Room 247 to discuss our annual events and the election of club officers.

Debate Club: The first meeting of the Debate Club for students in Grades 9-12 will be on Thursday, September 18, at dismissal, in Room 210.

Yearbook Grades 9-12: Any student in Grades 9-12 who orders a yearbook before September 26 will save $10 plus get 4 free icons. Any questions, see Ms. Romeo in Room 206.

Student Council Grades 9-12: There will be a meeting on Thursday, September 18 in Room 252. Join REMIND and Google Classroom for more information.

Homework Center: Homework Center for all students will start next week. On Tuesdays, Ms. D'Angelo will be in the South Library, on Wednesdays, Ms. Murphy will be in Room 16, and on Thursdays, Ms. Rogan will be in Room 219. You can attend any session you wish, and Homework Center is available at dismissal.

Comic Book Graphic and Novel Club for Grades 7 and 8: The first meeting will be on Thursday, September 18 at dismissal in Room 37. Ms. Walker has new comics, graphic novels and mangas.

Drama Club for Grades 7 and 8: Any student in Grades 7/8 interested in being a part of the drama 7/8 musical this year should attend the first interest meeting on Thursday, September 18, at dismissal, in the Auditorium. Grades 7/8 can audition for the cast, and students in Grades 9-12 who are interested in Stage Crew should also attend. The name of the musical will be announced at 3 PM that day.

DAT Club for Grades 7 and 8: The Dignity and Tolerance Club meets every Wednesday with Ms. Lubliner in Room 38 at dismissal. All students in Grades 7 and 8 are welcome to attend.
