Announcements for December 19, 2024
Attention all Seniors: The West Hempstead Community Scholarship Fund is awarding several $2,500 scholarships to seniors. Applications are available in the School Counseling Office and will be mailed home at the beginning of January. To be considered, applications must be postmarked no later than February 7, 2025.
Drama Club Auditions: There will be auditions for this year's musical production of Grease on Thursday, December 19 at 3:30 PM in the Chorus Room (128). Follow instructions on Google Classroom.
GSA Club: Come celebrate at the holiday party on Thursday, December 19, at dismissal, in Room 201.
DAT Club: The DAT Club for students in Grades 7 and 8 meets every Wednesday, at dismissal, in Room 38.
Mathletes 7/8: The next meeting of the club will be on Thursday, December 19, at dismissal, in Room 18.
National Junior Honor Society: There is a mandatory meeting today, at dismissal, in Room 16.
Homework Club: If you would like a space to do homework or to ask for assistance with homework, stop by the Homework Center on the following days: Mondays with Ms. Spallino in Room 15, Wednesdays with Ms. Murphy in Room 16, and Thursdays with Ms. Rogan in Room 219.
