Did you know? It is important to understand that the school district budget supports all school-aged students in West Hempstead, not only students who attend the West Hempstead public schools. In addition to supporting public school students, the budget covers significant costs related to students who attend schools outside of the district, including students at BOCES, charter schools, and private and parochial schools. Those costs amounted to approximately $12 million of total spending in the 2021-22 school year (about 18% of total expenses).
*****

Congratulations to our SS Seniors who will be closing one chapter and starting a new one this Fall! We wish you the very best and remember, once a Ram, always a Ram! #RamPride #RamCulture
