The West Hempstead School District’s STEM Program will provide students with the skills and resources needed for a successful academic career with an emphasis on the science, technology, engineering, and math disciplines. Students will be instilled with a variety of interests and strengths that infuse traditional school curricula with inquiry-based learning, discovery education, real-world problem-solving investigations and to prepare a new generation of scientists, mathematicians, engineers, researchers, and inventors.
