Our Italian students took a trip to The Cooking Lab in Port Washington, transforming a traditional classroom lesson into an immersive cultural experience. Students made handmade cavatelli pasta in a butter and sage sauce while practicing their Italian language skills.
From precision slab-building to intricate detail work, our Advanced Ceramics students are pushing the boundaries of clay. The creativity in this studio is unmatched.
Our 8th grade historians turned their DBQ evidence into visual arguments and asked the question, was the 1920's the "Roaring Twenties" or an "Era of Paranoia"? We can't wait to see their perspectives and how they connect the past to the present with a connection to the 2020s.
Huge thanks to DJ Ace for dropping by our Spanish classes today! He showed us exactly how music technology and language collide, turning Spanish lyrics into high-energy tracks. Our students saw firsthand that when you find the right rhythm, the world speaks one language.
We were thrilled to host Professor Sponsler from Syracuse University for a deep dive into the "Audacious Heist" interactive case.
From analyzing cryptic clues to grilling the Professor during Q&A, our SUPA Forensics students are officially on the case to uncover the truth.

From the mesmerizing Lion Dance to the delicious flavors of pupusas, empanadas, and more, our Multicultural Night was a feast for the senses. Our students represented their heritage through food, flags, and fashion. Thank you to our Student Council for organizing this event.

Today, 7th grade students were diving deep into Refugee by Alan Gratz. It’s one thing to read a story, but these students are master detectives—identifying powerful themes of survival, sacrifice, and hope and backing it all up with rock-solid textual evidence.
Our chemistry students turned the lab into an ice cream parlor to explore the magic of freezing point depression. By adding salt to ice, they lowered the temperature enough to freeze their cream into a delicious masterpiece.
