Hello,
The high school fall season for football starts on Monday, August 22nd. All other fall sports begin on August 29th.
The high school nurses will be in on Tuesday August 16th (8:30am-1:45pm) and the school doctor will be in as well at 9:45am. This is the only day the school doctor will be in if anyone needs a physical. If your child needs a physical from the school doctor you must submit the parental consent form by 9:00am to the nurse.
The school nurses will also be in to clear study for athletics on August 22nd (8:30am-1:30pm), August 23rd (8:30am-1:30pm), and August 29th( 8:30am-10:00am).
The school nurse is the only person who can clear students to participate in athletics. Since Family ID is a new program for all involved including the nurse’s my suggestion is to register as soon as you can.
On first day of tryouts each coach will get a list of students who are cleared ( students who registered through Family ID) from the nurse at 8:00am. Based on the list the coaches receive from the nurse only those students can tryout.
As of this morning here is a breakdown by sport of how many students are registered for each team:
Football 9
Boys Volleyball 4
Girls Swimming 0
Girls Volleyball 3
Girls Tennis 1
Cheerleading 2
Boys Soccer 4
Cross Country 1
Girls Soccer 2
* Please register as soon as possible.
Any questions please email me at cmistretta@whufsd.com. Thank you and have a nice weekend.
Mr. Mistretta
Athletic Director

The students in our Government and Criminal Justice courses had a chance to listen to Judge Solages. The students gained great insight into the opportunities to work in the court system and had the chance to ask questions.

Our students and teachers put on a great performance this evening at the Spring Concert. We even had some added features to the program! Job well done.
