The New York State Public High School Association and Section VIII athletics are looking to start a flag football league for girls in the spring season. The game would be 7 vs 7 with two twenty four minute halves. All state rules would be followed and the students would have to meet the state requirement for practices. The state requirement would be six practices and tentatively it would be a 6-8 game schedule with the season most likely starting at the end of April. If any students are interested or would like more information on the program please stop by the athletic office.

Congratulations to the varsity football team. Last night the team defeated Cold Spring Harbor High School by the score of 16-6. The rushing attack was led by Zadrian Budhoo and A’Lorenz Chapman. The defense was anchored by Michael AbiAoun and Brendan Close. An outstanding effort from the secondary and defensive line. It was a great team win.
