Hello, Upcoming events next week. Next week come celebrate our graduating seniors in the athletic program. We would like to recognize and congratulate our seniors with pre-game pictures and a ceremony with their parents/ guardians. Please arrive thirty minutes prior to the start time. Monday, February 7th Girls varsity basketball game at 7:00pm against Wheatley High School Tuesday, February 8th Varsity cheerleading (7:00pm) senior send off/ viewing of the teams cheer routine prior to attending the Nationals trip to Disney Wednesday, February 9th Boys varsity basketball game at 5:00pm against Cold Spring Harbor All the events will be live streamed. Masks must be worn at all times and four spectators per student athlete will be allowed to attend. Come show your support!!!

Congratulations to the varsity winter track teams. Last night the track & field teams had several great performances at their conference championship meet. Victoria and Gloria Guerrier finished 2nd and 4th respectively in both the 300 and 600, while senior Laila Canelo finished 2nd in the 55m hurdles. Derek Chinchilla finished 3rd in the 600, Damilola Babalola finished 2nd in the 55m hurdles, and Jordan DeJesus won both the 55 and the 300. The 4x200 relay team of Dominick Ferguson, Derek Chinchilla, Damilola Babalola, and Jordan DeJesus took home the conference champion title. All of these athletes have earned All-Conference honors.

Students in Mr. Napoli’s Criminal Justice class engaging in an intense cross examination!

Good morning, I am on a zoom call for high school athletics with BOCES and all the athletic directors from Nassau County. There has been a long discussion about masks being worn at basketball games. Our student/ athletes have done a very good job wearing masks during the games but we can still improve and do a better job. Across the board every basketball coach in Nassau County needs to enforce that masks must be worn at all times and this starts with the students wearing masks at practice. The executive director from BOCES stated that every highlight on News 12 and the photos shown in Newsday show students not wearing masks. Masks must be worn at all times. I will continue to stress that masks must be worn but I need the help of all coaches to reinforce masks must be worn by all students in practice and at games. Thank you for your cooperation.

Congratulations to the boys varsity bowling team. Yesterday, the team shut out Evergreen Academy, 11 - 0. Aidan Sumrall had a pin total of 514. Nicholas Trinh had a pin total 462. It was a great team win.

Congratulations to the boys junior varsity basketball team. Last night, the team extended their winning streak to five games improving their record to 5-0 by defeating Locust Valley by the score of 52-44. Chris Young led all scorers with 24 points. Evan Wilson added 15 points and Anthony Graffeo-Jackson had 11 points. It was a great team win. Great teamwork and defense by Niko Adikimenakis, Declan Cole, Mason Strum and Riley Leddick in helping in leading the RAMS to victory. The boys look to continue their winning streak today as the team plays Oyster Bay High School at 7:00pm. GO RAMS!!!!
