On Dec. 20, students and teachers from West Hempstead Secondary School’s music program visited Chestnut Street School for a festive holiday sing along.
Dressed in holiday pajamas, Chestnut Street’s students and teachers filled the school’s gymnasium as they danced and sang along to the holiday music. Chestnut Street Principal Dr. Lisa Minicozzi emceed the event and danced with her spirited students. Additionally, Superintendent of Schools Dan Rehman (dressed as Santa Claus) made a surprise visit to greet the district’s youngest learners and to wish them a Merry Christmas and happy holidays.
