The West Hempstead ENL Department hosted its annual Thanksgiving luncheon on Nov. 22 when West Hempstead Secondary School students joined together at the north gymnasium.
The festive luncheon serves as an opportunity for ENL students to experience the traditions of a holiday in the U.S. ENL staff members worked to prepare traditional Thanksgiving dishes such as turkey, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, potatoes and pies. Staff members also served the food while students enjoyed conversation and interactions.
