Parents and guardians stood in the center of Chestnut Street School’s parking lot in West Hempstead on Oct. 31 as kindergartners took part in the school’s annual costume parade.
From comic book superheroes to fairies and princesses, students proudly marched around the parking lot. Parents recorded videos and snapped photos of the students as they waved to each other.
Additionally, district administrators visited the costumed characters to cheer them on during the parade.
