On June 4, the West Hempstead School District held its annual Tenure Tea ceremony at West Hempstead Secondary School to celebrate newly tenured teachers, retirees and 20-year employees.
Superintendent of Schools Dan Rehman spoke highly of each of the staff members while Board of Education President Karen Brohm presented each of them with plaques in recognition of their milestones.
The district would like to thank its staff members for all of their hard work and for being dedicated members of the West Hempstead school community.
