The West Hempstead School District is proud to announce that three Cornwell Avenue School students were named as winners in Liberty Water’s annual Be Water Wise Art Contest for elementary schools.
First graders Roman Mavashev, Mark Oliver and Dyllan Snagg had their artwork featured in the 2024 Liberty Be Water Wise calendar. This calendar includes water conservation tips each month and expresses the importance of water conservation through the students’ art.
The district commends the young artists on being included in Library Water’s calendar.
