Congratulations to the middle school boys basketball team. The Boys Basketball team defeated Island Park Middle School on Friday, December 10th by a score of 41 to 30. Leading the way offensively were Jonathan Houston, Irvens Abraham, Jason Maldonado, Jamir Houston, Danny Rose, and Alex Davis. It was a great team win.
The team's next game will be Thursday, December 16th at East Rockaway, at 4:45 pm. GO RAMS!!!!
Congratulations to the varsity cheerleading team. Yesterday, the team placed in 1st place at a regional competition at Wantagh High School. The team is recognized as regional and division champions as well as rewarding the team the opportunity to compete at the National High School cheerleading championship in Floriday this February.

Thanks to @dmb2587 for arranging our 7th grade "visit" to Jamestown today. On this virtual field trip, our students got a tour of the Jamestown archeological site and learned about life in the colonies. The bus trip was too long, but this let us be "there!" @whufsdrams @smurrayLB

Outstanding offensive production from Jonathan Houston, Irvens Abraham, Jamir Houston, Alex Davis, and Jongregory Cajuste. Great defensive efforts from Christian Feglia, Kemy Ilderice, and Danny Rose. The team's next game will be next Tuesday, December 7th at Academy Charter at 5:00 pm.

Conversation is key to understanding complex math. Ss in Ms. Parillo & Ms. Papocchia's class are rotating through stations to review & practice work with exponents & other simplification rules for expressions. They enjoy the pencil & paper as well as the partnerships. @whufsdrams
Ss in Ms. Klein's math workshop class are getting support with base 10 and exponent systems. I also showed them how to count in base 8 and base 2 just for fun! It's the conversation that drives the learning and the Chromebooks are a supplemental resource. @whufsdrams @smurrayLB
