Kindergartners at Chestnut Street School in West Hempstead recently got in the spirit of winter season during Snowed-In Day.
Students in each class crafted their own snowmen. Classes also competed against each other during a fun, educational snowball fight using paper balls. Each of the snowballs featured a sight word for students to build their vocabulary.
