Course Descriptions

One day you may have to negotiate a multinational contract with the representatives of a company overseas or travel out of the country to conduct a business transaction. Do you want to speak the language and understand the culture of your customer? Language is our connection to our community and to the world. As the world becomes increasingly interdependent, it is important for every person to acquire the skills for communication with others. Select one of the languages below to help you with your future career. The languages offered depend upon enrollment. All meet Regents requirements. A three-year sequence in a Foreign Language leads to a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. Elective college-level courses are available in Spanish 4 Honors and Spanish and Italian 4 College and 5 College through Molloy College in Grades 11 and 12. College credits are transferable to most other colleges and universities.
